Thanesh Janardhanan

Chairman & Representative Executive Officer

Thanesh is a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer turned serial Entrepreneur. He started his career as an Auto designing Consultant for major Japanese automobile Companies in the 90's, where he was exposed to Japanese culture and innovations that has changed the technological world. Thanesh has facilitated several start-up Companies in Asian region and is instrumental in opening up new markets for some of the path-breaking Japanese technologies in renewable and recycling sectors. His business interests lies in Waste management and recycling, Waste Water Treatment, Desalination, Alternative Energy, Environment, Engineering, New Material, Advanced Information Technologies, etc. Over a period of 18 years ,he was instrumental in introducing new markets for ERS Technology, especially in Singapore, Malaysia,Srilanka,Indoensia,Phillipines and India. It was due to his concerted efforts that ERS technology began garnering enough interests in South East Asia. Thanesh started JERS with a wealth of experience in the areas of strategy and continuous improvement, regulatory, tech transfer and operations in emerging markets.

Masahiro Watanabe


After graduating from Chuo University, Electrical Engineering Department, engaged in designing and manufacturing household sewing machines at sewing machine maker (RICCAR Co., Ltd.). After that, he moved to a major electronic component trading company (Unidux Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Avnet, USA), and as manager, he was in charge of domestic sales and trading division as a sales engineer in the electronic components, semiconductors and electronic equipment divisions. After that, as a business coordinator, engaged in cultivating start-up companies through industry-academia collaboration and business matching with major companies and overseas companies.

Masashi Akanuma

Chief Executive Officer

Masashi Akanuma started his business career as a trader of marine products in Norway.As his scope of business widens, he shifted his business to Poland, Chile, USA and Japan where he developed industries such as trading, manufacturing, processing JV etc.Settled his business base back in Japan, he encountered the ERS technology which was still in development status and started the International marketing from very in the beginning of the business development.

Tomohiro Ogawa


Since 1991 worked at The Association for the Promotion of International Trade Japan and is in charge of China business consulting. Engaged in establish a joint venture, technology transfer, dispute resolution in China overseas, market research., moved to Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation from 2002 and assumed office as the Tokyo Liaison Office.  Planning and publishing the first economic paper "Nippon Zaikei" to introduce Japanese companies in Chinese, distributed to 50,000 circulations for Chinese business executives and administrative executives. His books include "Human Resources and Labor Management Manuals for Companies Entering China" (Japan Efficiency Association / co-author), "Changing 26" (Japan International Trade Promotion Association / Main Work), "China Tender Law" (edited by Japan International Trade Promotion Association / edited) and so on.  For about 5 years from 2013 to 2017, he is the President of HT Solar (Tangshan Haitai new energy Polytron Technologies Inc. China).

Yoshikazu Yamaguchi

Currently he is representative of Yamaguchi Public Accounting Office and also engaged in nurturing start-up companies in Japan as consultant.

Soufiane Belkhiri

Director-Business Development

Soufiane Belkhiri graduated from a top French Business school is in charge of the global business development for JERS.His different international experiences in Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa allows him to easily understand and handle any intercultural challenges. Soufiane has a previous experience in waste management with the leading company for medical waste management treatment from France.
